A Porcelain Smile A Porcelain SmileA Porcelain Smile by ~voltism
I once knew a girl, a lifetime ago.
She had a smile that could power a city block.
Her heart glowed with a crimson red,
And her joy knew no bounds.
I heard this girl's edge slowly dulled
Her eyes dimmed and smile faded.
She replaced her joy with the razor.
A different kind of crimson flowed from her now.
I still wonder about that girl I knew,
When I gaze into the water, peering at the stranger on the other side.
Now this girl keeps her smile behind glass,
In a cabinet. Gathering dust, in the dark.
If I asked, could she take that smile out?
Could it still

First they came for the software pirates,
And I didn't speak up because I didn't pirate software.
Then they came for the mp3 downloader's,
And I didn't speak out because I did not download mp3's.
Then they came for all the copyright violators,
And I didn't speak out because I didn't think I violated copyrights.
And then they came for me, because they copyrighted the air.
And there was no one left to steal the air for me.
